Jenny

Carmen  has a long history of creating life-altering events for struggling social groups. As a child, her first events were  Barbie doll striptease shows in her driveway – Ken was never invited. At 25 she was the assistant producer for the 1987 Gay and Lesbian March on Washington, which attracted over 750,000 attendees.  During that time she also created and produced the largest outdoor women’s festival, Women’s Weekend, on the Russian River in Northern California.  The festival attracted 6000 women twice a year for 8 years.  She went on to create the first-ever women’s outdoor clean and sober festival in the 90s.  Carmen also served as stage manager for the West Coast Women’s Music and Comedy Festivals in Yosemite for several years, as well as entertainment director for the Robin Tyler Women’s Cruise line.

In 2000 she founded Reality Theater in the San Francisco Bay Area, based on her “Philanthropic Entertainment” model for charitable fundraising.  For Reality Theater’s first production (focused on InnVision, a homeless services provider), Carmen was awarded the Distinguished Volunteer Fundraiser Award by the National Society of Fund Raising Executive for her “generous contribution and outstanding leadership to the philanthropic movement in Silicon Valley”.  She also received the California State Senate Certificate of Recognition for her “creative illustration of the plight of the homeless”.

From 1995 – 2003 Carmen was founder and CEO of  a management consulting business called Serious Fun, which specialized in a unique method of management consulting to Fortune 1000 firms through humor.

In her earlier years she served as Event Producer for Santa Clara County United Way.

A national keynote speaker, she has been featured in media such as the Wall Street Journal, San Jose Business Journal and KNTV.

Carmen’s successful one-woman show, “Elvis’ Secret Dyke Daughter”  has been on tour recently and will resume on the West Coast in 2009.

Carmen lives in her Baja beachfront home with her significant other Chihuahua, Tater Tot, where she ponders the question; “What if the Hokey Pokey IS what it’s all about?"

Judy runs the show, keeps all the plates spinning, and reminds Carmen to take her Geritol.  She is a one-woman band of humor and practical jokes.  If you aren't laughing around Judy, then check your pulse, because you are probably dead.  We cannot reveal her professional status - or we would have to kill you.

Ren is a professional in the medical industry.  And she WILL have you in stitches.  For the event she is in charge of all the wacky fun happening at the "Cougar Club", our onsite lesbian dance bar.
